Your go-to RV park in Southern Louisiana

Audubon R.V. Park is approx. 35 minutes from the South side of Lafayette La. Take Hwy 167 South from Lafayette to Abbeville, La. Then take La 82 South to the Metropolis of Mouton Cove. Mouton Cove is a small community 7 miles South of Abbeville off the beaten path. You can take Hwy 82 from the Texas Louisiana Line a hug the coast scenic by way where you will see vast marsh land and huge live oak trees as you drive through the Chenier's and possibly see an alligator or two. If you're coming from Hwy 90 North you would take a left on Hwy 14 from New Iberia to Abbeville and then take LA Hwy 82 South from there. Coming from the Texas Louisiana Line in Cameron Parish A.R.V.P. is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes and about 125 miles from the Texas Line from New Iberia approximately 30 miles or 35 minutes.

When staying at A.R.V.P. you can visit the Abbeville Cultural Alliance Center in downtown Abbeville. Take in some of the history of Abbeville which was established in 1850. Abbeville has historic sites such as the old train depot, Sam Guarino black smith shop and museum, St. Mary Magdalen catholic church,( built in 1844) Louisiana Military Museum, and great authentic Cajun restaurants that will make your mouth water. If you take a short drive up to Lafayette you can visit Acadian Village and Vermilion Ville two places that will give you a glimpse into what it was like for our ancestors that were exiled from Nova Scotia in 1755. You can also take a short trip to Avery Island to tour the place where they make Tabasco pepper sauce. You can also visit the Acadian Museum in Erath Louisiana. Erath is approximately 20 minutes from A.R.V.P or you can just relax under our roughly 300 year old live oak tree and numerous pecan trees. Taking in the sites of what John James Audubon surely got his inspiration from. We look forward to seeing you at A.R.V.P.
