Joe, owner, was great to talk to and super friendly as were the neighbors. There are only 4 sites. Palmetto State Park is a great place to spend a few hours walking around. They also have a splash pad if you have kids and they take the Amer. The Beautiful pass. The Tabasco tour was also near by and recommended. So peaceful and clean and our new friend Joe was so friendly and welcoming…we had a great visit with him !!! The area is so pleasant and relaxing we could sit and enjoy the birds singing and the cows mooing. Great place to be a little home away from home and take some day trips to look all around the area !!! Definitely will stay here again when we make it back down this way !!! Thanks again Joe !!!! Stumbled upon this RV place while roaming around Southern Louisiana, the Palmetto State Park was full, they recommended this RV park. Took a drive by,the place is small(only a few sites) they were all full. The campers called the owner and he let us boondock for the nite. Very quiet, very rural, very nice little spot. Great chin wag with the other campers over coffee in the morning and off we went. Big Thank You to the owner for accommodating a solo traveler. The owner, Joe, was super friendly and helped us get into an overflow spot, which in my opinion is the best spot of them all. This place is right up there with the best Harvest Host spots we’ve ever visited. And Jack ( the horse) let us feed him a few carrots this morning. We may even change our return route to come back here again in the future. sharon dietzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a quiet country location. Beautiful fields all around and plenty of space for recreation and dog play. Owner Joe Tessier is super accommodating and easy to deal with. b duffTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stumbled across this place through the Harvest Host app. Great place to unwind and relax. It had all the necessary hookups for our large coach with no extra frills, quiet and peaceful with just a handful of spaces. 15 minutes from anything you might need in town and just a short drive to Avery Island if you want to spice up your day. Joe was very accommodating and provided some helpful directions. It was a welcome retreat after nearly 2 months away from home. We’d definitely stay again!
